This Week’s RESET: Significant

Since you're the most important person in your life, let's focus on you! You agree that you're important, don't you? Just imagine for a minute that we're having a conversation and you bring up a noteworthy experience you had. My next question to you is, "name 5 significant areas of your life." What would you come up with? Take a moment now to pull out your notepad and pen and jot down your thoughts. Are you done? Maybe not, how about hitting that list again! Have you gotten past those "drunk monkey's" and bypassed all your inner dialogue? Just for good measure, answer the question again. Now that you have your final list, do you think you're remarkable? In The Meantime I've got a couple of clients who are in transition right now, and their biggest struggle is The Meantime. Can you relate?  There's always something that is changing in your world, isn't there? And the most challenging aspect of change is what to do in the meantime. By most standards, waiting sucks. You feel out of control, your spirit diminishes and you may even get a little depressed. The flip to 'hunky dory' may be a stretch at first.... would you settle for 'OK'? Day 5 - Bust outta your groove..... shake it up! That's Richard Knerr in the photo, co-founder of Wham-O..... the inventor of the Frisbee and Hula Hoop.  Think he had fun at the office?!!  Follow his example and step out of the groove you've created for yourself.  Live a little :) The more you can feed your body and mind a new concept, the more successful you will be at achieving your goal.  You are obviously looking for change and to create something new, so go all out!  Go to an exotic lunch place, listen to a new radio station, wear a different color, follow a different route home - something that will set you on another path to reach your goal.  Subtle shifts over a period of time are very effective in creating those initial sparks you'll need to transform.
