This Week’s RESET: Support

This Week’s RESET: Support

SUPPORT There were quite a few people who showed up for me last week, and I want to say thank you! It feels wonderful to be supported, and I really appreciate those of you who supported me by sharing my information for my book launch last week - we hit #1! And I'd like to especially thank those of you who decided to RESET - I look forward to our sessions. “No matter what you have, no matter your experience level, sometimes you just need a hand.”   ―Auliq Ice You feel so good when you show up for someone, don't you ? There's a sense of importance, closeness and love, isn't there? A connection that you make with yourself & whomever or whatever you're supporting. It's a win/win, and it inspires you to do more. Do you easily ask for support when you need it ? If not, why not? I understand how hard it can be. As someone who was raised to be...

Motivation Monday: Create Change

Become a subscriber to Motivation Monday, click here Motivation Monday: Create Change Don't Wait For Time   Andy has some great insight here, doesn't he? You can't go back and change events or circumstances. Sure, after a big event, you may want to give yourself time - that's natural. The question is, how much time? And, are you waiting for that magic wand of time to make the change for you?  What if there is no event..... time has just been passing by and you have become complacent?  Hmmm.... sounds like it's truth time. When do you know it's time for you to move on?  You'll feel the internal pull, although it may be met with resistance.  What is that resistance about anyway?  Resistance is a sure sign you're ready for change.  That feeling you get is your inner thermostat letting you know it's time to get out of a comfort zone.  Let's say you've got your career in a good position, and now, you'd...

The Power is Yours – take it to the Top

If you want to make it to the top, you're the one who's gonna make it happen.  Most def, positive reinforcement works, and a good coach or mentor will be able to point out things you may have overlooked.  Support while you are in that 'in between' is really key.  Ultimately, all the final choices lay in your lap, no one else.  The power is all you, baby! Get in the driver's seat, take full responsibility and go all out.  Be the person you really want to be.  What does that take?  It takes being in integrity with yourself.  If you believe in health, have the best body you can.  Eat well & fuel your body for ultimate performance, be respectful of your body, exercise. Maybe your thing is to be spiritually aligned.  If that's the case, get solid with who/what/how keeps you in check.  It may be a specific yoga class twice a week, writing, or a being involved in a...

Day 29: Fluidity

Day 29:  Fluidity When you least expect it, Life happens.  I know all about it, lol.  We all experience big changes at one point or another - illness, work, marriage, death of a loved one.  When we are hit with these life changing situations, how do we maintain our goals? You go through the experience, and begin to make small steps to put your goals back in perspective.  They may take a different shape because of your experience - go with the flow! Change is good, even when it seems disastrous at the time.  Almost 8 years ago, I lost my sister Lisa in a nite club fire in RI.  At the time it was devastating and there was a lot to examine and go through.  I made a very conscious decision to 'become a better person' and maintain self care. Years later, my Life is better than it's ever been and I am reaching new heights and overcoming obstacles by staying motivated...
