Day 8: Healthy Goals, Healthy Rewards

Good for you.  You've been diligent in your efforts and now it's time to do something great for yourself :) This weekend find time to pamper yourself, buy a book, download a fun app - something to reward yourself for getting to day 8!  Maybe visit a gallery or coffee shop to sit down for some doodling and writing. Are you getting the hang of 'self care'? I hope so!! Fit tip: visit a local hiking landmark and get out for some fresh air.  If your weather is too rough, hit a mall or museum to roam about. Drop a comment and let me know how your week went and what you're doing to congratulate yourself this weekend!  Thanks, Paula           Join me on FACEBOOK This is part of a series '31 Days to Stay on Track with your New Year's Resolutions' Jan 2011.  ©Paula D'Andrea. Need to slow down?  Try the 'feathering technique' - place your hands at the end of the lever, and tap your brakes, applying intermittent pressure as you pedal down the hill. Aim for 60-80 RPMs.  What's your pace?  Count how many times...
