All The Pieces That Matter

Day 20 of ★ 30 Days of Rockspiration ★ All The Pieces That Matter Sometimes you just don't know what you've got until it all comes tumbling down.  The things you've taken for granted can become dust in the wind at any moment.  Minor falls, like a shaken confidence will present minimal damage & will get you back up right away.  What happens when you fall so hard that you  shatter and splinter into many pieces?  What will "all your King's horses & all your King's men" do to put you back together again?  That answer depends on how hard you fell and why.     Day 14 of ★ 30 Days of Rockspiration ★   This week in ★ROCK STAR MONDAY★: STING   [easyrotator]erc_23_1358128215[/easyrotator]     Gordon Matthew Sumner was born on October 2, 1951 in Wallsend, England.  Like many of our RSM artists, his musical influence began early when he found a Spanish guiatar at age ten and became obsessed with it.  As a teen, he would sneak into clubs, and be influenced by his Rock Stars favorites, like Jimi Hendrix & Cream.  Sumner had some pretty eclectic jobs - bus conductor, construction worker and tax collector before a 2 year stint of teaching. His first love is jazz, and he began playing with local bands on weekends. Eventually he would move to London where he would meet Stewart Copeland and Henry Padovani. In the midst of the punk rock scene, Andy Summers replaced Padovani, and The Police were born, releasing 5 albums and winning 6 Grammy's. Sting struck out on his own in the early 80s when the band members...

One of the highest grossing female performers, she is one of the most influential performers of our time. She is impeccable in every aspect of her stage persona, and provides a spectacular, spectacular show.  At 50+, she is in the best shape of her life and is Rockn' life - performing, being a mother and writing children's books in between her Rock Star moments.  She has taken the world by force, and by her own accord, 'came from nowhere' to...
