Music is Universal. No matter what language, we get the rhythm, the emotion, the groove. My parents had a wide range of music which they introduced every once in a while on Sunday afternoons when my father would hit his Hi-Fi. He’d spin out such artists as Dionne Warwick, Arturo Sandoval, Burt Bacharach, Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, the Mamas & Papas, & the 5th Dimension. I loved the music, and more than that, the good mood it provided!
The Holiday music my family had was generally Italian, classical/traditional and modern pop – the current artist of the year. Thanks to my parents, I have an electic range of music :0 As I have always celebrated Christmas, most of what I have is that just that……. classical to snazzy. What’s your favorite Holiday song? One of my favorite things to do during the season is sit by the light of the tree, a candle or two, and listen to the sounds of the Holidays!
Cheers to your listening pleasure!
