Gym Etiquette – Use a Towel!

I was working out in a private setting with a client this morning, and a gentleman asked to work in with my client on the ab bench.  Of course I said 'yes' and very much appreciated his courtesy in asking.  The downside....... he was soaked from his workout.  USE A TOWEL DUDE ...... that bench was NASTY when you got up!!  Lol.  He was totally oblivious, so I nicely asked him to wipe the equipment down, which he did.  It got me thinking...... maybe many people are just 'unaware',  and prompted me to write this post. 3 ESSENTIALS FOR YOUR WORKOUT ENVIRONMENT Wherever you decide to exercise, there are a couple of things to keep in mind to support your choice in space.  3 essentials for your workout are....  weights, mobility (stretching), and cardio.   Hire a trainer for 3-8 sessions to get started.  I have clients who did that, then come back in once a month for a 'tune up' and begin a new program. HOME: If your decision is to exercise in your home, the main consideration is space.  Think of what type of workouts you'd like to do, and design your space accordingly.  You may need just enough space for a video workout, or a piece of equipment.  While contemplating your investment, it may help to consult a professional.   As you expand your fitness level, you may want to add on and modify your gym. GYM: Are there any amenities (location, parking, classes, steam, pool, etc) you'd really like to have?  Location is key, as this will...

CAN YOU IMAGINE DIVING 25 FEET OR MORE?!

To me these are elements present after a great workout.  A sense of accomplishment - the fact that you showed up, is one of the greatest feelings ever, so get excited!  Bringing out your 'personal best' is an essential factor in making healthy living part of your Lifestyle.  As you continue to challenge yourself and find yourself with boundless energy* and harmony, you will be encouraged to continue and seek new, challenging platforms.
