Power Lunch

Power Lunch How do you think you'd feel sitting in a room having lunch with a couple of millionaires and an exclusive group of highly successful entrepreneurs?  Do you think you might be inspired?  I was in that position recently when I sat down with Secret Millionaire's James Malinchak, Marketing Mentor Adam Urbanski, Decisive Mind's Michele Scism, 'Think Bigger' Business Coach Chris Makell, America's Inner Peace Coach Mary Allen, Million Dollar Lifestyle Business Coach Melanie Benson Strick, and Copywriter Donna Kozik. For my first Power Lunch, it was pretty impressive :0 It was fun, fascinating and had a bit of a 'WOW' factor, lol.  Most of all, it felt comfortable.  Being in the company of people who are living their dreams, actively bring their passion to life and contributing to the greater good, was very inspiring.  It gave me insight, more confidence and energy to pursue my goals and follow my dreams. Do you have positive team players?

Do you have positive team players? Yesterday I was at my niece's first little league practice game.  There was a lot of nervousness, excitement, good plays, bad plays, amazing hits, walks and strikeouts.  You could tell there had been a year off for these kids, as they were slow to get into the groove of the game. I thought it was really great that he let his team know he wasn't going to put up with...

The Church of James

The Church of James James Durbin really beat to his own drum in his April 20 performance on American Idol.  Going all out with his rendition of Muse's 'Uprising' was total rock quality all the way through. Diagnosed with both Tourette’s and Asperger’s syndrome, James brings his Power to rock out.  He says he has a 'mild case' of both disorders, and he hasn't let them slow him down, even as he has dealt with peer taunting during his pre-teen and teen years.  His amazing Spirit along with his Passion and Desire have led James to the top 7 of Idol. James focus on Positve Potential shows us how to soar past limiters.  Best luck to James and all of the contestants, who have also been a source of Inspiration this season. Have a cappuccino

Have a cappuccino You want mega change in your life.  Nothing's happening.  Fess up..... you're afraid to ask yourself the questions you really need to. If you're waiting for somebody else to make changes for you, they may not be the ones you want.  Take responsibility, and get talkin'. There's a number of ways to go about doing this.  You can sit yourself down with a cappuccino, a writing pad, a furious pen & fess up already!  You can sit yourself down with a trusted ally, a cappuccino & spill your guts.  Or you can really get to the heart of the matter and spit out your 'true confessions' in front of a video, like I did a few weeks ago. "The best place to find a helping hand is at the end of your own arm." - Swedish proverb Whichever method you choose, take responsibility, do yourself a favor and do it already! Movin' on.......
