Day 30: Simplicity
“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” Leonardo da Vinci
You are creating the Life that you want with the goals you have set for yourself. As you have experienced this month, you are taking daily steps to reach the goals you have set for yourself this year. They don’t happen overnight, so just relax and focus on being better, rather than trying to make things easier!
There is progression in goal setting, and if you have to think ‘outside the box’ a little more – do it. It will help you get past any obstacles that pop up and give your goals more power and life. As we go forward, there are some things that will hold true and other things that will be replaced. Be OK with the doors you are opening and the ones that are closing.
I think one of the most challenging aspects of moving forward is losing familiarity. In moving forward, sometimes we move past people, things or places that once held a steadfast for us. During this phase, we can become disconcerted and begin to question some of our choices. Sit tight, it will pass! Feel what is in your heart – your innermost desires – and let that be your guide.
The things and people that are meant to help you persevere and advance will surround you. Trust that, and you will become the person aligned with and achieving your goals, living the life you desire.
Fit Tip: do your workout in a space that offers simplicity and solitude today. Whether it be in your living room, a yoga class or a hiking trail, find simplicity in your space and honor the choices you’ve made for yourself.
What is the workout space that brings you simplicity and solitude? Share your comment below. Thanks, Paula
