Day 31:  5 Tips to keep you Rolling! January 31, 2011 - here you are.... successful, in movement - ready to rockn'roll!  You should be really proud of all you've accomplished this month.  Although it has had it's challenges, I am proud of myself for sticking with my blogging goal, my fitness goals and my business goals.  I am ready for February - how about you?! When you set your New Year Resolutions, you most likely had some short term and long term goals in mind.  If you've accomplished one of your short term goals this month - cool on you :)   You may have found you needed to reshape some of your goals - happens all the time.  Do what you need to do and keep moving! Looking back at my blogs from Day 1 til now, I have seen progression with my blogging.  Tooting my own horn, there is some good advice here!  I'm going to spotlight a few blogs to...

Day 30: Simplicity

Day 30:  Simplicity “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”  Leonardo da Vinci You are creating the Life that you want with the goals you have set for yourself.  As you have experienced this month, you are taking daily steps to reach the goals you have set for yourself this year.  They don't happen overnight, so just relax and focus on being better, rather than trying to make things easier! There is progression in goal setting, and if you have to think 'outside the box' a little more - do it.  It will help you get past any obstacles that pop up and give your goals more power and life.  As we go forward, there are some things that will hold true and other things that will be replaced.  Be OK with the doors you are opening and the ones that are closing. I think one of the most challenging aspects of moving forward is losing familiarity.  In moving forward, sometimes we move past people, things...

Day 29: Fluidity

Day 29:  Fluidity When you least expect it, Life happens.  I know all about it, lol.  We all experience big changes at one point or another - illness, work, marriage, death of a loved one.  When we are hit with these life changing situations, how do we maintain our goals? You go through the experience, and begin to make small steps to put your goals back in perspective.  They may take a different shape because of your experience - go with the flow! Change is good, even when it seems disastrous at the time.  Almost 8 years ago, I lost my sister Lisa in a nite club fire in RI.  At the time it was devastating and there was a lot to examine and go through.  I made a very conscious decision to 'become a better person' and maintain self care. Years later, my Life is better than it's ever been and I am reaching new heights and overcoming obstacles by staying motivated...

Day 28: Participate!

Day 28:  Participate! When I was young I participated in sports.  I wasn't the best - for quite a while I was a bench warmer!  What I did bring to my team was heart, readiness, and a desire to have fun.  I made nearly every practice and provided a challenge for starting players. I did play a little in high school and held the same status of bench warmer and practice partner, lol.  Being athletic I tried nearly every sport and did gravitate towards biking, tennis and surfing.  As long as it was fun, I was in! Point is, you can always make a difference in whichever groups you choose to be a part of.  As an adult, I still choose venues and events that are fun.  I also belong to groups that make me better on a personal and professional level.  I belong to several Meetups, LinkedIn groups, Mastermind and Coaching groups.  They make me stronger and put me in a...

Day 27: Own it!

Day 27:  Own it! Here we are on Day 27 - woo hoo!  Did you think you'd make it?  Trust me, it has been a challenge for me to reach my goals too :) What I've found is, there is Power in the very conscious choices I've made.  I feel very supported by writing daily and posting my words.  I appreciate your feedback! Another of my goals is to keep leaning out.  With an ever changing, womanly body, I find my exercise and nutrition to be key components for this goal.  Although my scale weight isn't reflective of my efforts, the way my clothes fit is a good indicator of the progress I'm making.  I have bought a few items in the past couple of months that are already loose - particularly pants. Today I had an opportunity to meet another of my goals to be gaining more visibility and adding content to my business.  I appeared on a segment for a local L.A....
